GET TO KNOW YOUR SEWING MACHINE: Friday 3rd April
DESCRIPTIONDate: 3rd April 2020
Time: 6.00pm – 9pm
Do you have a sewing machine that's been hidden under the stairs for years and you've wanted to dust it off and get started on some fabulous projects but you don't have the knowledge or confidence to get going? Or maybe you've just got a new machine and don't know where to start.
Then this class is for you.
Bring your machine along, (preferably with your instruction book) and you'll be shown how to thread it properly, wind a bobbin, how to use the many dials, knobs and buttons and learn how to set up the different stitches and what they are used for and how to maintain your sewing machine too.
You'll go home with a sewn sampler of all the stitches (dependant on how many there are!) and the knowledge of how to use them all.
The sewing school also has it's own computerised sewing machines so if you'd like to use those for the lesson then you're welcome to do so.
You will need to bring your sewing machine (if using your own) with some thread and bobbins for this class.

A great course for those wanting to learn how to use a sewing machine but not knowing where to start. Vikki makes it a very relaxed environment meaning no question is too silly. You will come away wishing you had done it years ago! And don’t be put off by ‘bringing your machine’, if you don’t have one but are thinking about buying one this course is ideal in helping you decide which one to buy. Vikki will let you use one of hers and you will most definitely make a better decision on your machine!"
