Please Note: This is an Intermediate workshop for those with sewing experience, but no bagmaking experience needed. Please check with us before booking if unsure.
During this one day workshop you will make the wonderful Firefly Tote from Noodlehead patterns – choose from Tote or Project size.
“An easy to use tote and project bag! The Tote size is perfect for a day trip or work bag and the Project size is great for knitting or crochet projects or even as a lunch bag! Both sizes feature a fun drawstring closure and interior slip pocket. A handy front pocket with an additional zippered pocket makes this bag super functional!”
Bags will need to be made using quilting weight cotton, as anything heavier will be too thick for the sewing school machines to handle.

Approximate finished dimensions: Tote size – Width 27cm x Height 36cm x Depth 12.5cm (10.5″ x 14″ x 5″)
Project Size – Width 20cm x Height 25cm x Depth 12.5cm (8″ x 10″ x 5″)
This will be a busy day of sewing so please be prepared to be tired but happy at the end of it!
The Noodlehead pattern is included in the workshop price but you will need to provide your own materials for this project, all available to purchase from Nimble Thimbles.
Some preparation will be required before the class ie: cutting out your pieces and fusing interfacing. There is help in the shop if you need for this.
Sewing machines are provided in the sewing school but you will need to bring your own equipment with you.
Once you have booked and closer to the date, you will be emailed a list of materials & equipment needed for this project.
