Some sewing experience is needed for this workshop (ie: you need to know how to use a sewing machine).

You will be required to cut out your pattern pieces prior to the start of the class. This can be done at the shop if you need help doing this.

The skills you will learn will be how to read your pattern, transferring pattern markings, seams and finishes, hems and twin needle sewing and how to use an overlocker (if you wish). Essentially you will pick up tips on how to sew jersey successfully and you will take a pattern (worth £13.50) home with you so you can make many more at your leisure!

You will need to provide your own materials and tools for this class but sewing machines and pattern are provided. Once you have booked you will be emailed a list of materials and tools needed for this workshop.
