During this one day workshop you will make a completely Reversible Holiday Tote, with internal and external zipped pockets, magnetic snap closure and webbing handles in a choice of handheld or shoulder length.
Perfect for the beach, shopping or general holiday use, this roomy bag has the added advantage of being completely reversible to suit any outfit!
Learn how to make boxed corners, add boxed zip pockets, attach a rivet magnetic snap closure and how to add webbing handles.
Bags will need to be made using quilting weight cotton or equivalent, as anything heavier will be too thick for the sewing school machines to handle.

This workshop is not suitable for beginners to sewing, but is suitable for beginners to bag making.
You will need to know how to confidently and competently use a sewing machine. Please check with us before booking if unsure.
This will be a busy day of sewing so please be prepared to be tired but happy at the end of it!
The pattern is included in the workshop price but you will need to provide your own materials for this project, all available to purchase from Nimble Thimbles.
Some preparation will be required before the class ie: cutting out your pieces and fusing interfacing. There is help in the shop if you need for this.
Sewing machines are provided in the sewing school but you will need to bring your own equipment with you.
Once you have booked and closer to the date, you will be emailed a list of materials & equipment needed for this project.
