Have you ever wondered how traditional teddy bears are made? Why not join Nicola from Stonehenge Bears to make a gorgeous jointed fabric bear for yourself or a loved one in a day. Nicola is renowned for her beautiful bears and classes throughout the Southwest so you’ll be in excellent hands on this workshop.
The bear is made with fabric and all materials are pre-cut for you to choose from on the day and tools are provided. If you don’t want to make a Christmas themed bear then there will be a choice of other fabrics to choose from too.
Finished height: 20cm (8″)
The bear is sewn mostly by machine although some hand sewing is required to sew up the limbs after stuffing and embroider the nose. Sewing machines are provided and step by step guidance given.
Kits are available to purchase on the day if you wish to make more bears at home and you will take home your own pattern to make more bears at your leisure.
Numbers are limited to ensure plenty of individual guidance.
It will be a full day in Nimble Thimbles and you will need to be confident using a sewing machine, which is provided.
This bear is made with fabric similar to the bears pictured and packs of materials will be made up for you to purchase on the day at a cost of £15.
