The Donny Shirt is a boxy pull-on top that is designed to be a workhorse in your wardrobe. It is a dartless top with a lapel collar and short sleeves. The Donny is a great every-day top that can be worn with practically anything.
Make your own ‘Donny Top’ using the Friday Pattern Co. pattern on this one day workshop learning how to sew a collar, a yoke, set-in sleeves, hems and using the overlocker to finish your seams (or using zig zag stitch on the sewing machine).
This top is made up on display in the shop if you’d like to see it. (Size XL)
Pattern size: XS-XXL (Bust size 32 – 46″)
Some sewing experience is needed for this workshop (ie: you need to be confident using a sewing machine and have done some dressmaking before).
You will need to provide your own materials and tools for this class but sewing machines and patterns are provided. Once you have booked you will be emailed a list of materials and tools needed for this workshop. You will also need to cut out all you fabric pieces before the class so we can concentrate on the sewing during the class. If you need help doing this in the shop before hand, then please ask.
