During this one day workshop you will make a fully lined and interfaced ‘Convertible Bag’ by Mrs H. The bag converts from a cross body bag to a backpack with couple of easy steps. It has an internal and external zipped pocket with a tuck lock fastening and adjustable handles.
This class is for intermediate sewers who have sewn before and are familiar with a sewing machine.
Learn about different bag interfacings, how to sew internal pockets and a zipped pocket, how to construct a bag with a tuck lock opening and adjustable hand made handles.
Finished size: W-25cm (10″) x H- 30cm (11.5″) (excluding handles)
You will need to provide your own materials for this project, all available to purchase from Nimble Thimbles. Sewing machines are provided in the sewing school but you will need to bring your own equipment with you due to Covid.
