Have you ever wondered how traditional teddy bears are made? Why not join Nicola from Stonehenge Bears to make a gorgeous jointed mohair teddy bear for yourself or a loved one in a day.
This class is made with mohair similar to the bears pictured and all materials and tools are provided.
The bear is sewn mostly by machine although some hand sewing is required to sew up the limbs after stuffing and embroider the nose. Sewing machines are provided and step by step guidance given.
Kits are available to purchase on the day if you wish to make more bears at home.
Numbers are limited to ensure plenty of individual guidance.
You will get a pattern and full instructions to take away so you can make your own memory or heirloom bears at home afterwards.
It will be a full day in Nimble Thimbles and you will need to be confident using a sewing machine, which is provided.
This class is made with fabric similar to the bear pictured and packs of materials will be made up for you to purchase on the day at a cost of £30.
