During this one day workshop you will make a Finch Hobo Bag by Bagstock Designs.
The Finch Hobo Bag is a medium sized slouchy shoulder bag. It has a beautiful curved shape, a zipped closure and internal slip pockets.
Bags will need to be made using quilting weight cotton or a medium weight fabric. You can add fusible fleece interfacing (see example in the shop), or just use woven interfacing for a true slouchy shape.
Dimensions
8.5″ high x 15″ wide x 4.5″ deep. 22cm x 38cm x 11.5cm.
You will need to be confident and experienced using a sewing machine as there is some manipulation of fabric needed to sew the gorgeous curved shape. Please do not book this workshop if you are a novice on a sewing machine.
Please be prepared for an enjoyable, but busy day of sewing.
The pattern is included in the workshop price but you will need to provide your own materials for this project, all available to purchase from Nimble Thimbles.
Some preparation will be required before the class ie: cutting out your pieces and fusing interfacing. There is help in the shop if you need for this.
Sewing machines are provided in the sewing school but you will need to bring your own equipment with you.
Once you have booked and closer to the time, you will be emailed a list of materials & equipment needed for this project.
