This bag is a perfect project for confident beginner sewers who know how to sew and how to use a sewing machine but would like to learn a few more skills! During this one day workshop you will make a fully lined and interfaced bag with a zipped top opening, internal pocket, and shop bought handles. You will have a free pattern to take away with you to make lots more for your friends and family.
Learn about different bag interfacings, how to sew internal pockets, how to construct a bag with a zipped top opening.
Finished size: W31-cm (12″) x H- 23cm (9″) (excluding handles)
You will need to provide your own materials for this project, all available to purchase from Nimble Thimbles. Sewing machines are provided in the sewing school but you will need to bring your own equipment with you. There will some preparation required to do before this class at home or with help in the shop.
