During this one day workshop you will make a ‘Miss Maggie’ bag (pattern by Emmaline Bags), with a magnetic snap closure, bag feet, an internal slip pocket and an internal zipped pocket. You can make your bag truly unique by choosing from three different types of strap anchor hardware, optional side fasteners for a cinched in shape and either shoulder or hand straps.
Bags will need to be made using quilting weight cotton or a medium weight fabric, as anything heavier will be too thick for the sewing school machines to handle.

10″ tall x 11″ wide x 4″ deep. 25cm x 28cm x 10cm.
You will need to know how to confidently use a sewing machine.
Please be prepared for a busy day of sewing.
The pattern is included in the workshop price but you will need to provide your own materials for this project, all available to purchase from Nimble Thimbles.
Some preparation will be required before the class ie: cutting out your pieces and fusing interfacing. There is help in the shop if you need for this.
Sewing machines are provided in the sewing school but you will need to bring your own equipment with you.
Once you have booked and closer to the time, you will be emailed a list of materials & equipment needed for this project.
