During this one day workshop you will make the Mrs H Happy Handbag with two tone handles, magnetic snap closure, bag feet, internal slip pocket and internal zip pocket.
A stylish, structured bag with barrel ends. Roomy enough for all your essentials and a bit more!
Learn how to make two tone handles, a slip pocket, a box zipped pocket and how to add magnetic snaps and bag feet.
Bags will need to be made using quilting weight cotton, as anything heavier will be too thick for the sewing school machines to handle.
Dimensions
Width 32cm x Height 22cm x Depth 18cm (12.5″ x 8.5″ x 7″) approximately, excluding handles.
You will need to know how to confidently and competently use a sewing machine.
This will be an intensive day of sewing so please be prepared to be tired but happy at the end of it!
The pattern is included in the workshop price but you will need to provide your own materials for this project, all available to purchase from Nimble Thimbles.
Some preparation will be required before the class ie: cutting out your pieces and fusing interfacing. There is help in the shop if you need for this.
Sewing machines are provided in the sewing school but you will need to bring your own equipment with you.
Once you have booked and closer to the date, you will be emailed a list of materials & equipment needed for this project.
