During this one day workshop you will make a fully lined and interfaced tote bag in a choice of two sizes with a zipped top opening, adjustable handles and internal pocket. This class is for confident beginners so you need to have sewn before and be familiar with a sewing machine.
Learn about different bag interfacings, how to sew internal pockets, how to construct a bag with a zipped top opening and adjustable hand made handles.
Finished size: Small: W-20cm (8″) x H- 20cm (8″) x D- 5cm (2″) Large: W – 30cm (12″) x H – 30 (12″) x D – 7.5cm (3″) (excluding handles)
You will need to provide your own materials for this project, all available to purchase from Nimble Thimbles. Sewing machines are provided in the sewing school but you will need to bring your own equipment with you.
