During this one day workshop you will make the Pelican Tote bag with an external zipped pocket, internal slip pocket, magnetic tab fastening and statement handles.
Perfect to show off a beautiful statement fabric and as a roomy shopping bag or anytime you like bag! Once you’ve made one all your friends will want one, so it’s just as well you get the pattern to make more!
Learn how to make hand sewn handles, darted corners, external zipped pockets, slip pockets and how to add a magnetic tab closure.

Width 38cm x Height 30.5cm x Depth 8cm (15″ x 12″ x 3″) approximately, excluding handles.
This class is suitable for confident beginners to bag making, as well as more experienced bagineers wanting to learn different skills.
You will need to know how to use a sewing machine.
You will need to provide your own materials for this project, all available to purchase from Nimble Thimbles. Some preparation will be required before the class ie: cutting out your pieces and fusing interfacing. There is help in the shop if you need for this.
Sewing machines are provided in the sewing school but you will need to bring your own equipment with you.
Once you have booked you will be emailed a list of materials & equipment needed for this project.
